08 Outlander steering lock replace

Good day all I replaced a steering lock assembly on 08 outlander paid for pin code by dealer went to maxisys menu for steering lock unit registration only to see tool does not support action autel should grey out functions not yet supported because we waste money and could damage cars also PLEASE AUTEL look into this thank you.Tags: maxisys

Autel could be having region issues. For example the mut3 which is mitsubishi original
tool is region locked, usa software is different then european, they used the same
security codes for the same makes but one region only, the usa software will not work
for european vehicles, different codes. If you live in usa you could buy the china clone
for usa for about 700 dollars, original mut3 is 7k. I bought an original one used for
1500 and it works great, a friend of mine bought the chinese clone and it also works
great. -

One more thing some times the maxisys will say function not supported when in fact it
is, this is sometimes do to no connection with the module, you need to try again.
